Direct cremation

Teodor Kvalheim

Funeral Director, cremation

Most families who call at night need to know one thing: what happens next. I tell them, then I come.

Today 4pm

Meet

Rufus Engebretsen

Crematory Operator

Every person gets a steel tag with a number the moment they arrive. It goes into the crematory with them and comes out with the ashes.

Thu 10am

Meet

Cremation with memorial

Soledad Varnum

Funeral Director, memorials

A memorial can be in a chapel, a backyard or a dance hall. It should sound like the person, not like us.

EN ES

Tomorrow 10am

Meet

Lorcan Haldane

Celebrant

I meet the family, listen for an hour and write a service that sounds like the person. Faith, no faith or a mix.

Fri 3pm

Meet

Traditional funeral

Fenna Vossler

Owner and Funeral Director

Ask me what anything costs. I would rather you hear the number from me than be surprised by it.

Today 2pm

Meet

Leopold Galloway

Embalmer and Funeral Director

When a family sees their person here for the first time, I want them to say: that is Dad. Nothing more than that.

Wed 9am

Meet

Dmitri Yablonsky

Night and Weekend Director

Nights and weekends are when most families call. Someone who knows what they are doing should answer the phone.

EN RU

Sat 10am

Meet

Graveside burial

Bertram Brekke

Funeral Director, veterans

I served twenty years in the Army. When a veteran comes to us, the flag is folded right and the paperwork is filed the same week.

Tomorrow 1pm

Meet

Ezekiel Thorsby

Funeral Attendant, transfers

Most nights I am the first person from Vossler a family meets. I take my shoes off at the door and I don’t rush.

Mon 9am

Meet

Pre-planning

Kalinda Nakashima

Pre-planning Advisor

Planning ahead is a conversation, not a sales call. You can leave with nothing but your wishes in writing.

Today 11am

Meet

Grief support

Emmeline Whitacre

Grief Counselor, LCSW

Grief is not a problem to fix. It is a weight you learn to carry, and it is lighter carried with other people.

Tue 6:30pm

Meet

Fabiola Pellerin

Family Care Coordinator

After the service the paperwork starts. I make the calls to Social Security and the VA so you don’t sit on hold.

Planning
for yourself?

Sit down with Kalinda for an hour, here, at home or by video. You leave with your wishes in writing and a price in writing, and you pay nothing that day.
