Marjorie Strnad, 95, of Omaha, died on October 2, 2026, at the home she shared with her daughter.

Marjorie was born in 1931 to Czech parents in South Omaha and worked for thirty years as a bookkeeper. She made more than 200 quilts, gave nearly all of them away and could tell you who had each one.

Her Thursday bridge club met for 52 years. Her kolaches were the center of every holiday, and the recipe now belongs, by her written instruction, to all of her grandchildren equally.

She is survived by her daughter, two sons, eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

Service

At her request, the family will hold a private service. Cremation has taken place.

Memorials

Notes and memories for the family can be sent to the funeral home, and we will pass them on.
